The Cellar - ALREADY!

So we wandered onto the property today expecting to see a slight change. We were not prepared for what we saw! Our house is finally and very quickly taking shape.

In about a month the roof should be going up!

The Foundation - Day 2

Day 2 - Proud owners of a ..... huge hole!

Well, as these things usually go, the hole is getting bigger!

We are the proud owner of a huge 5m deep, 16m wide and still only 4m long hole. It is still going to grow 10 - 12m longer! No more green, just a red/brown "Taunus Gold" sand/clay.

Baustart!!! The Building Start!

Well after too long they finally started building today!!! Or rather digging!
All very exciting and excited... The amazing summer we are having is also meant to continue so no delays from the weather side. *Sigh of relief*
