Wow, so they don't kid around, when they start building they really start!
They only started the digging a month ago; and we already have a cellar.
Last week they finished the cellar - they added the roof onto the cellar.
Which basically means they put these huge concrete slabs on top of the cellar walls, with steel reinforcement and then poured concrete onto it.

And then we went past on the weekend, saw the roof on the cellar and decided to have a mini picnic on top of our cellar. As things looked a little small, we also ran around with a tape measure to make sure we didn't buy a shoebox! We are happy with the size. Not too big, not too small... Just right!
These "bricks" on the top are for the ground floor.
